The Marshall County Art Guild was established in 1977. It is a membership association which strives to support the arts with:


  • Encouragement to artists through collaboration and interaction
  • Educational opportunities, workshops, lectures and discussion groups
  • Annual scholarship to a local high school graduate entering college with an arts major.
  • An art facility where members can come to network and broaden their creative experiences, take art classes and workshops. 
  • A Gallery where the community can appreciate the visual arts through exhibits and community projects
  • Engagement for member artists to provide their expertise, works, volunteer time and personal donations to support the Guild and other area nonprofits.


Membership is available to both artists and those wishing to provide support for the guild and its mission. Guild membership has various levels of contribution and benefits:

  • Regular membership meetings to interact with other artists
  • Advanced notices of all shows and events
  • Opportunity to exhibit at the Gallery 
  • Networking Opportunities
  • Volunteer Opportunities

Marshall County Art Guild has a beautiful gallery conveniently located on the south end of our historic Lewisburg Square at 107 W. Commerce St. 

The Gallery features works from member artists and invited guests including; paintings, drawings, photography, textiles, jewelry, glass, pottery, multimedia works and art from area students

There is meeting and workshop space where guild members, renowned local, regional and nationally known artists present art classes and workshops on all aspects of art.
The Art Guild Gallery is a perfect forum for local artists needing a gallery to display and sell their original works to the public. All the art work comes from established to aspiring artists using various art mediums such as paintings, glass-ware, and pottery. Our gallery exhibits multiple artists, and new art work is on display every two months. Each month, MCAG  features one Artist of the Month.
​We invite you to visit regularly to meet the artists and view the changing selection of original artwork on display.

Monday and Tuesday vary upon volunteer's schedules
